WHO ARE WE
In 2015, founder, Clara, researched the potentially harmful effects of additives found in many commercially produced skincare products, while recovering from illness. Using her knowledge as a qualified chemist and Associate of the Royal College of Science, she began by making natural, handmade soap free from SLS, paraben, SLES, palm oil and plastic, from home.

In mid 2017 Cosy Cottage Soap Limited was incorporated in premises within the York Science Park.
​
We work with independent retailers, rather than large corporate chains, and have a growing cadre of wholesale clients embracing shops, accommodation providers and visitor attractions, both in the UK and Europe.
​
In 2019, Clara and her team moved to new premises in the centre of Malton; a move which aligns to the company’s commitment to support the vibrancy of town centres in the UK.

We offer generous wholesale terms on our handmade, natural soaps, bath products, gifts, home and skincare products in the UK and worldwide.
