Each Cosy Cottage branded box contains
- A generous and long-lasting, 110g bar of our creamy and caring coconut oil based, natural soap. Our natural, universally loved sweet orange essential oil fragrance is created from steam distilled zest of orange and has been a favourite with our customers for years; a fresh and enlivening, natural bath or shower time staple
 
- A 95g bar of orange infused, palm oil free, handmade dark chocolate, created by our longstanding supplier and friend Chocaffair, just down the road in York
 
- One of our popular cinnamon and sweet orange Christmassy fragranced 100% soy wax ramekin candles.  Fragranced only with natural essential oils, the warm, festive fragrance contains no potentially harmful artificial limonoids. This 4oz candle will burn for around 20 hours in a draft free and well ventilated environment
 
Everything is made from natural ingredients in our Malton, Yorkshire workshops. We use no palm oil, no drying artificial surfactants (SLS, sumphates, SLES, sulphites), no parabens and no artificial colours or fragrances in our products. Instead we use top quality plant derived oils, vegetarian waxes and steam distilled flowers, plants and fruits.
 
Our boxes, wrappers and jars are all fully reusable, recyclable or compostable and we use no plastic packaging.

- Leave at least 10cm between burning candles
- Do not burn near anything which might catch fire

    We take the impact we have on the planet very seriously. 

     

    We manufacture our products in small, waste-free batches in Malton, York, UK. 

     

    Single Use Plastic Free: 

    We avoid wherever possible using single use plastic in our manufacturing processes. We do not use plastic in our courier packaging. All our product packaging is biodegradable, refillable, reusable or recyclable. 

     

    Cruelty Free: 

    We do not undertake any testing on animals. We don't commission testing on animals from third parties.

     

    Palm Oil and Additive Free:

    We do not use palm oil in any of our products. Our products are also free from SLS, parabens, artificial fragrances, colours and artificial additives.

    Sweet Orange Soap - Sodium cocoate, Sodium olivate, Sodium beeswaxate, glycerin, Citrus Sinensis Oil (limonene, citral)

    Sweet Orange & Cinnamon Candle - Soya wax, Citrus Sinensis Oil (limonene, citral), Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (cinnamon) leaf oil

    Orange & Dark Chocolate Bar - Colombian Dark Chocolate (min. cocoa solids 60%) (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring), Natural Flavouring. Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May also contain milk, nuts and oats

  • Wholesale Terms

     There is no minimum order value. Orders over £750 ex VAT receive a 5% discount. Orders over £1000 ex VAT receive 10%. These discounts are applied automatically during checkout. Delivery on orders over £50 is free. Alternatively you are welcome to collect from our store in Malton.

     

     

     

    After you have made x3 orders with us, you are invited to apply for a 30 day credit facility with us. You can do this by emailing wholesale@cosycottagesoap.co.uk or you can continue to pay at the time of ordering.

     

     

     

    Normal orders are usually delivered within 2-3 days. For bespoke products that are made to order, our normal turnaround for these would be 2 to 3 weeks.

     

     

     

    All items have a minimum shelf life of 12 months except for bath bombs which should be used within 6 months.

     

     

     

    We are VAT registered - VAT at the current prevailing rate will be added to prices on the website at checkout.

     

     

     

    Vegan items are clearly marked on our website. Other items not marked as vegan contain beeswax. Some people are happy with this but we refrain from labelling them as vegan.
